Fierce competition on talents led by economic globalization has spread to the field of education,and curriculum reform based on core competences has become the strategic focus of the implementation of talents.The Young Pioneers organization is organized through activities rather than traditional knowledge teaching,so it has absolute innate advantage in cultivating children's abilities,attitudes and values.At the same time,the Young Pioneers is a basic-level organization for cultivating future socialist constructors and communist successors,and have great developing potential.Therefore,the study of Young Pioneers' competences has great significance for showing their enthusiasm and initiative.Taking the Young Pioneers of primary school as the subject,analyzing the current situation of the young pioneers' competences,this paper tries to understand the characteristics of the development of the Young Pioneers' competences in Haikou City,and analyzes the relationship between the competences with school,grade,gender,the identity of Young Pioneers,and parental education level.The questionnaire is designed on the theoretical basis of the contents and objectives of “Young Pioneers Course Guidance Outline”,using self-compiled questionnaire as the research tool.It is divided into six sub-goals from three aspects,including organizational consciousness,political identity,self-management,moral cultivation,responsibility consciousness and labor practice.This paper uses questionnaire on502 students of four schools in Haikou City,telephone consultation and direct interview based on interview outline,interview on more than 30 outstanding teachers of Hainan Province including work difficulties and breakthroughs,views on the core competences,and methods on solving.The questionnaire shows that: four primary school Young Pioneers overall compet ences are not optimistic,between the passing and good.But the Young Pioneers have good performance on political identity and labor practice,and have unsatisfactory perf ormance on self-management,responsibility sense,organization sense,need to continue to optimize;Young Pioneers' competences development of different schools differ gre at,and the overall competences of Nongken No.2 Primary School is better than the ot her three schools,and has significant differences on the dimensions of organizational consciousness,self-management and responsibility sense;Young Pioneers' competences of different grades differ great: grade and political quality,self-management are signifi cantly different.The higher the grade,the higher the political competence of the stude nts,the stronger the self-management competence of the children;organizational awaren ess,moral consciousness,responsibility sense have no different with the grade;children's labor consciousness of different grades has significant difference with the grade,it decreasing with the age increasing;the identity of Young Pioneers has significant diffe rence with the competence development: non Young Pioneers' competence is lower tha n Young Pioneers' competence;the competence of children not taken lessons of Young Pioneers is lower than those taken the lessons;the development of Young Pioneers' co mpetence has no significant difference in sex.Based on the above analysis of the results,as well as the prospects for the core competences,this paper points out the following comments and suggestions on the promotion of Young Pioneers: carrying out regular and effective Young Pioneers activities,enhance the competences of teachers,pay attention to home-school communication,form education cooperation.Paper consists of five parts,as follows:Chapter 1: Research background,research purpose and significance,research design and thinkingChapter 2: Definition of basic concepts and theoretical basisChapter 3: Current situation of the Young Pioneers' competences in four primary schools in Haikou City.Chapter 4: Analysis on the influencing factors of the development of Young Pioneers.Chapter 5: Measures on the promotion of Young Pioneers from the aspects of school activity curriculum,teacher competences and external support.Conclusion: Core point of view of the paper,supplement and outlook combined of Young Pioneers' core competences combined with useful experiences of core competences.
