Privacy,as an important right,is closely related to our daily life.The right of privacy refers to the right of personal life should not to be illegally interfered and the personal information should not known by others.The privacy of network online-shopping consumers is not a new thing,it existed since the evolution of traditional consumer privacy.Compared with the traditional consumer's right of privacy,the right of privacy for the network consumer has the following characteristics: the scope of the object is wider,the subject is more complex and more vulnerable to infringement,and there are difficulties to collect evidence and rights.Due to the phenomenon of Internet consumer privacy infringement is becoming increasingly prominent,countries are seeking for the development of China's e-commerce consumer privacy protection model.Among them,the most representative examples are the EU model and the American model.The United States for the lifting of information security protection mode mainly adopts industry self-discipline,supplemented by legislation,which encourages the industry created a set of their own norms,in order to achieve inter industry self-discipline effect,expecting to avoid e-commerce privacy upgrade.The United States,as a pioneer in the industry self-regulation model,through self-regulation within the industry,boosts network transactions in the process of consumer privacy protection.The differences between the European Union and the United States in the protection of the rights of consumers in the network are mainly reflected in the EU model focuse's on the uniform legislation.From the legal point of view,the European Union makes a unified legal basis,and accordingly establishes corresponding relief measures.Its member states have also made laws and regulations on the basis of this.The EU has issued a number of laws and regulations to protect the privacy rights of consumers from the multi angle and multi aspect.China's research on consumer rights in network transactions started late.At present,there is an increasingly serious problem caused by improper collection and improper use of consumer information in the process of network transaction.Consumer awareness of the law,the lack of legislation,less self-disciplined behavior of those businesses exert negative influence.
