The importance of online shopping has been self-evident.Online shopping has become an indispensable role in the Internet economy,especially in China.Under the premise of supporting the infrastructure and broad market in China,the online shopping and Internet economy flourish development of.Behind this gratifying fact,there are also some worrying phenomena.Since the birth of online shopping in China,there are still some problems that have not been solved,such as the protection of consumer personal information.The leakage of consumer personal information in online shopping has a huge impact on consumers' online shopping trust.Recently,as people's awareness of personal information security has increased,the hidden feelings of consumer personal information security have increased,and it has become increasingly urgent to enhance the protection of consumers' personal information.In the subject of infringement of consumer personal information,businesses account for a large proportion.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the legal regulation of the infringement of consumers' personal information from the start of business.This article is structured as follows:In the first part,the concept of consumer personal information in online shopping is introduced first.At the same time,the harm caused by the infringement of consumer's personal information on the consumer's property,person,and the whole industry is elaborated,and the relief options that consumers can take are discussed.This kind of infringement will lead to a reduction of consumer trust in the business.The trust of merchants and consumers is the precondition for online shopping.To deter such businesses from doing so will inevitably impair the healthy development of e-commerce.The second part focuses on the relevant legislation on consumer personal information protection in online shopping,including the historical process and specific regulations of China ' s legislation,the characteristics of changes in theprocess,and what kind of problems exist in the current legal regulations;Japan,South Korea,Germany,the United States and Canada and other countries related systems,and put forward reference.The third part proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This part mainly focuses on controlling merchants' access to personal information of online shopping consumers,as well as improving the penalties for merchants,and gives the author's countermeasures and suggestions.Regarding the first point,it specifically includes the concept of determining personal information of consumers in online shopping and the scope of obtaining information by merchants.The countermeasure is to establish a third-party platform information reporting mechanism;and to improve the penalties for businesses,the author believes that it can introduce business ethics to be out of order.At the same time,it regulates the level of legal liability for illegal businesses.
