A Study On The Aged Service Of Social Welfare Institute In Zhouzhi County,Xi’an

The pension problem has been attracting the attention of the whole society and the concept of social endowment is more and more popular to people,since our country enter the aging society.In the era of economic and social growing rapidly,China has initially established a social pension service system,with theintroduction of pension policy and measures.Confucianism occupied the mainstream position in the traditional culture of China.The filial piety ethics advocated by the confucianists make the family based pension model continue to the present.The modern society weakens the family’s function of providing for the aged and strengthens the function of community care.Institutional pension has become the mainstream mode of social pension services,especially the pension institutions such as social welfare institutions undertake a large number of pension service responsibility.However,Institutional pension services face difficulties,such as the imbalance between supply and demand,backward infrastructure,high operating costs,lack of professionals,low level of service and other issues.Therefore,the author takes Zhouzhi County Social Welfare Institute as the research object,analyzes the problems existing in the service for the aged,and probes into the countermeasures and suggestions.In this paper,the author takes the Zhouzhi Social Welfare Institute as the research object,and uses the method of interview and field observation to sum up the present situation of the endowment service.The author will find the problem and analyze the causes from the current situation of the pension service,put forward the countermeasures and suggestions,and tries to use the methods and skills of professional social work to promote better Zhouzhi County Social Welfare Institute to provide pension services.
