Basically,Ideological and Political education is about human.It aims at educating,guiding and motivating people,while in the meantime,it is intended to respect,understand,care about and help people.In the modern world,both the international and domestic situations have undergone some profound changes.On one hand,Facing the cultural conflict of multi-values concepts,some people suffer from such problems as spiritual emptiness and loss of faith.On the other hand,our ideological concept and mode of thinking have a deeply and complex change.In order to solve these problems,Ideological and Political education should be based on individuals and be concerned about individuals' interest and needs.Moreover,the education method should be innovated.The report of the Seventeenth Party Congress pointed out that we need to strengthen and improve ideological and political work,pay attention to humanistic concern and psychological counseling and handle human relationship tactfully;The report of the Eighteenth Party Congress further emphasizes the need to cultivate a positive social psychology with self-respect and self-confidence,rationality and peace through humanistic concern and psychological counseling.The Humanistic Concern Method in Ideological and Political education is practiced under the guidance of man-centered educational ideas,with the focus of human needs,on the basis of equality and respect and with the traits of consideration.All this is an act of practicing the idea of ruling with humanities which is pursued by the Party.This paper aims to have a systematic study on the connotation and mode of operation of the Humanistic Concern Method in Ideological and Political education,so as to push the innovation of Ideological and Political education method.In the first part,the connotation,characteristics and importance of the Humanistic Concern Method are discussed.Through sorting out and concluding present studies,this paper summarizes the connotation of the method,analyses its characteristics and explores its importance,which lays the foundation of the following study.The second part discusses the base and effect of the method being studied.The Humanistic Method is not something imaginary,but established on the basis of science.First,Marx's theory of human nature and the theory of free and comprehensive development laid a profound philosophy accumulation for the method.Second,the Ideological and political education and methodology as well as other scientific knowledge laid its solid academic foundation.Third,the formation and development of human subjectivity serve as its research object and foundation.Meanwhile,the Humanistic Method can not only improve the subject's ability,but also enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education and help construct our socialist harmonious society.The third part is concerned with the application and requirements of the method,which is the standing point and destiny of this study.The application should adhere to such principles as combination of emotion and reason,communication and understanding,concern and serving and positive guidance.Moreover,different situations require different ways of implementing.The Humanistic Method includes caring and consideration method,mental health education method,social service method and so on.As for the implementing procedure.It follows certain operating procedures.In the meantime,the idea of humanistic concern shouldn't be forgotten,the subject consciousness of both the education sides should be developed,modern media carriers should be applied creatively,humanized evaluation mechanism should be established and education methods should be merged and leveraged to bring the method into full play and enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
