A Study On The Construction Of The People's Livelihood Of The Communist Party Of China In Yan'an Period

In the course of human society,the livelihood has always been a theme of social development and an issue concerning the most direct and realistic interest of the public and related to social development and stability.During important Yan'an period in Chinese history,the livelihood policy,which was implemented to change backward condition in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region,has a pivotal position in the history of China's livelihood construction.At present,China has entered an important period of development and transition,facing serious problem regarding people's livelihood construction.Therefore,research on ideas of constructing Chinese people's livelihood in Yan'an period and exploration of their connotation and contemporary value are helpful to provide the theoretical and practical guide for solving people's livelihood in contemporary China.It is undoubtedly significant for current and future study.The full text is divided into five parts:The first part focuses on the origin of ideas adopted by CCP for the construction of the livelihood during Yan'an period.These sources mainly include: the people-oriented thought in traditional Chinese culture,the theory on people's livelihood proposed by classical Marxist writers,the people's livelihood by Sun Yat-sen and theories and practice regarding livelihood by the Communist Party of China during the Agrarian Revolutionary War.The reference and summary of origins of the livelihood helps understanding the theoretical and practical background of the people's livelihood construction during Yan'an period,providing theoretical guidance and experience summary for the formation of the Party's livelihood construction during such period.The second part describes the historical background of ideas adopted by the Party for livelihood construction during Yan'an period.Before the Agrarian Revolution,the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region was naturally harsh and backward in economic construction,the culture and education,the democracy legal system,and the people's livelihood.The analysis of economy,politics,culture,legal,nature and other aspects give a more realistic understanding of the reality in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region during Yan'an period.The third part discusses the main contents and basic characteristics of ideas adopted by the Party for livelihood construction during Yan'an period.The main contents include: efforts to develop the economy;implementation of cutting out military and simplifying administration;reduction of the rent and interest;strengthen the basic education;development of health care;improve social management;expand channels for democracy and promote legal construction.And four basic characteristics are contemporaneity,livelihood,practice and innovation.The last two parts put an emphasis on the evaluation of historical value of such ideas,as well as inspirations of the people's livelihood construction in Yan'an period for the current era.The study on ideas adopted by the Party for livelihood construction during Yan'an period in the thesis is carried out to acknowledge its historical value on the one hand,and on the other hand,to draw historical lessons to provide a theoretical guide for the construction of contemporary Chinese people's livelihood.
