| The deterioration of the ecological environment has brought many negative effects to human life.So how to restore the damaged ecological environment has gradually been the concern of all walks of life.After the 18th Central Committee,the ecological building turned into a national strategy and a number of related programs has been put into practice.Various problems have caused by the increasing ecological immigrants,especially their social security which is bound up to the areal economic and social development as well as local harmony and stability.In the western part of Kun Dulun District of Baotou City,many who depend on agriculture to survive still live in poverty.To aid the poor just on the spot can not entirely get rid of poverty and then achieve prosperity due to the problems such as serious ecological environment pollution,soil salinization,traditional farming mode to live and undeveloped regional economy and society.Implementing ecological immigration projects is an effective way to alleviate poverty accurately and promote social harmony there.Based on the current social security programs for the ecological immigrants in Kun Dulun District of Baotou City,this paper analyzes the existing problems,including the low insurance rate of ecological residents,the unsuitable security standards for their needs,limited service provided by primary social security structure as well as deficient financial institutions in the resettlement area.Accordingly,countermeasures like establishing a sound social security system,exploring management system for ecological resettlement or developing local economy will be put forward.It is expected that the overall ecological civilization level of Baotou City could be improved so that the construction of harmonious society would be bettered in this city with mentioned suggestions and references. |
