Analysis Of Improving Local Government's Public Information Service

Public information service as a critical part of the public service systems is one of the important contents of the government functions.The realization of public information demand is the government's most concerned issue.The public's interests can only be guaranteed through continuously improving the local government's ability of public information service.Life in all aspects is influenced by the public information service with the local government as a main provider whose ability of the public information service exerts an impact on the development of the whole public service system.Problems like single service content and service mode,insufficient response and concern and a public information service functional organization being absent,etc.have also been existed in the local government public information service of our country in recent years.In this paper,it has analyzed system factors,management factors and policy factors hindering the improvement of the local government public information service in our country as well as discussed the current situations and existing problems of the local government public information service in our country by means of field survey study.Furthermore,the paper guided by the Marxism theory,has also utilized the principle of public management on the basis of the reality of the local government public information service in our country to propose countermeasures on improving the local government's public information service by drawing lessons from the advanced experience at home and abroad.Meanwhile,it also suggested to strengthen the function of the public information service of the local government,improve the carrier construction of the public information service of the local government,enhance the inforarmation consciousness and ability,develop diversified service units as well as perfect laws and regulations,etc.from the aspects of consciousness,system,technology and policy,etc.in this paper.
