Research On The Collaborative Governance Of Illegal Religious Activities In Chongzuo City

In recent years,some illegal religious activities have happened in Chongzuo City,the border region.These activities are generally relatively hidden and hard to find timely.As a result,it brings forth serious social impacts.Nowadays there exist some difficulties and problems for the managment of the illegal religious activities in Chongzuo City.At the same time,how to manage illegal religious activities is also one of the challenges in terms of theory and practice in China.From the diversification of governance,improving the coordination mechanism and the level of collaborative study,this thesis takes illegal religious activities of collaborative governance in Chongzuo City as the research object and takes cooperative governance theory as the basis of theoretical analysis.The main point is:the primary forms of illegal religious activities in Chongzuo City are illegal activities,illegal religious penetration,Christian missionary ways of illegal religious activities,etc.With the guidance of policies and regulations,the ways of existing governance mainly rely on relevant government functional departments alone to govern.Though it has achieved certain results,the following problems appear.Firstly,the unitary subject of governance with the public participation and the religious organizations is less.Secondly,the lack of awareness of synergies between the functional departments and the level of the collaborative governance is low.Thirdly,the power of governance is still very weak.The main reasons are as follows:the management concept is backward;the functional departments in synergy is hard on information sharing;the policy of propaganda and prevention work is not in place;the effect is not obvious;the border line is long;religious management is less;the governance tasks are burdensome and have great difficulties.In view of the present problems and reasons existing in the governance of the illegal religious activities,we should take measures from the following aspects:First and foremost,it should strengthen the concept of collaborative governance in illegal religious activities to build and improve the coordination mechanism between the government departments.Besides,it should reinforce the publicity and guidance and intensify the level of illegal religious activities in the social public collaboration.Last but not the least,it should give full play to the leading role of religious bodies and religious representatives.The present research can help enrich the theoretical research on the governance and provide reference suggestions for the governance practice of the illegal religious activities.
