The Study On Care Difficulties Of Caregiver For Looking After Dementia Patients In Family

Population aging has become an unprecedented,challenging world problem in human history.With the aging of the growing,one of the most prominent problem is the number of disabled elderly and dementia people continue to increase.The number of patients with dementia will continue to increase with the aging of the population at the same time,our medical services and pension facilities are difficult to meet the long-term care of the elderly,family care is still the main model of the current pension,Family caregivers bear the care of the vast majority of the elderly.The purpose of this study is to explore the essential meaning of "care dilemma" for the caregiver in the elderly.In order to explore this core issue,the subject is divided into the following minor questions:What are the dilemmas of the careless elderly caregivers who take care of the elderly? How does the careless elderly caregiver deal with and overcome these dilemmas? What are the needs of caregivers in the face of such dilemmas? What is the meaning of the process of taking care of the dilemma and coping with the dilemma?In this paper,a semi-structured interview with eight family caregivers of the Alzheimer's Family Association in Beijing,a qualitative study of phenomenological methods,found that the common care dwellers of caregivers are: 1.Family caregivers face long-term care for the elderly And the choice of life,the care of the elderly squeeze the caregivers to take care of their children,seeking personal development and social interaction time and energy;2.caregivers bear great mental stress,most of these pressures from the affection of the forgotten,care process The difficulties of torture and social discrimination brought about by the pressure.3.Family caregivers have encountered great difficulties in the actual care process due to the lack of reasonable scientific care techniques.In view of the "care for the dilemma",caregivers generally said that coping with the dilemma is a learning process,from the novice to the experts,their own "dilemma" response is also more and more easy."Care for the dilemma" in the eyes of family caregivers more of the positive performance is: "Dilemma" is a test of love,"dilemma" experience is a journey of love.In order to better help the caregiver,this article made two suggestions: First,the development and improvement of the elderly care for the elderly care model;the second is through the establishment of disability family mutual help groups and psychological counseling to help caregivers to ease the pressure.
