Research On The Autonomy Of Non-profit Organizations In China

The determination of the quality and level of public services and social services by non-profit organizations' autonomy is the key to social governance.In recent years,with the need of innovation social governance system in our country,all kinds of non-profit organizations develop rapidly,but various problems emerge one after another.The problems of self-governance of non-profit organizations are outstanding.How to improve the non-profit organization's ability to manage weakness,to build an effective internal governance mechanism,to exert the advantages of autonomy,and to guide non-profit organizations to play their due role in social construction and development has become a common problem both in theory and in practice.Based on social governance theory and civil society theory,this paper uses comparative research and case study methods to describe the history of non-profit organizations in our country and analyzes the autonomy nature and current situation of non-profit organizations in China Taking the children's village of Sunshine Yihong in Dalian as an example,this paper concretely analyzes the specific problems such as the governance mode and autonomy dilemma of non-profit organizations in our country,clearly points out the problems of lack of autonomy,lack of autonomy,weak ability and poor management,further elaborates the lack of public welfare value,Strong administrative management,excessive dependence on the government,imperfect financial supervision,low transparency and lack of relevant legal systems.Based on the advanced self-government experience of non-profit organizations in developed countries such as Britain,the United States and Japan,this paper puts forward the institutional path to improve the self-governance capacity of non-profit organizations in China from the aspects of organizational regulation,coordination mechanism and internal governance structure.This paper is divided into the following five parts:The first part is the introduction.First of all,the paper introduces the research background,that is,the situation of the autonomy of non-profit organizations in China,and the theoretical and practical significance of this study.Secondly,sorting out and reviewing the related research situation at home and abroad,and sorting out the research ideas.Finally,according to the needs of the study,this paper mainly uses case study method and comparative research method.The second part is the definition and theoretical basis.This part focuses on combing the main concepts and main theories of this paper,laying the theoretical foundation for the analysis of the autonomy of non-profit organizations.This paper clarifies the attributes of the research subject by combing the core concepts of the nonprofit organization,the autonomy of the nonprofit organization,the governance and the good governance,the social governance,the civil society and so on,and combines the social governance theory and the civil society theory to analyze the autonomy of the nonprofit organization in China.The third part is the status quo of the nonprofit organization autonomy in our country.First,it summarizes the history of the development of China's nonprofit organization,reveals the historical reasons that affect the development of China's nonprofit organization's autonomy;secondly,summarizes the characteristics of non-profit organization autonomy in China.Thirdly,the typical case study of nonprofit organization in China.Through the in-depth study of the typical nonprofit organizations in Dalian Children's Village,the paper analyzes the specific operation status and governance mode,and finds out and summarizes the present situation,characteristics,predicament and reason analysis of its autonomous development;Finally,according to the above analysis of non-profit organizations in China autonomous development history,typical case,combined with the characteristics of autonomy,this chapter summarizes the present stage of China's non-profit organizations are facing difficulties,and explore the reasons for these difficulties,this paper puts forward a solution to do the necessary analysis.The fourth part is about the characteristics of non-profit organizations in Western countries.First,combing the development process of NPO,understand the development situation from the vertical angle;secondly,the nonprofit organizational autonomy in reading literature of western developed countries and regions,summed up the essence of national non-profit organizations.On this basis,summed up the experience that can be used for reference,such as perfect laws,diversified forms of supervision,incentive mechanism,unified industry standards and so on.The fifth part is about the research conclusions and policy recommendations.At present,China's non-profit organizations are developing rapidly,its size,quantity,autonomy has been greatly improved,but at the same time we also found a lot of problems.In view of these shortcomings,this paper draws lessons from the experience of national nonprofit organization autonomy,combined with China's actual situation,and put forward some suggestions to raise the current level of self-management of non-profit organizations in China:first of all,the perfect supervision mechanism is the necessary condition for the development of the autonomy of non-profit organizations.The dominant role of the government needs to be adjusted,so it is better to provide a professional supervision service for non-profit organizations,so as to help them build a set of legal supervision system.Secondly,if non-profit organizations want to walk steadily and steadily on the road of self-government,it is unrealistic to be maverick,and its multiple characteristics are doomed to cooperate with all parties.Finally,the internal governance structure is the most important,and plays a decisive role in the healthy development of non-profit
