Investigation And Study Of Elderly People To Choose Medical-nursing Combined Aged Care Institutions And The Demands Of Nursing Care Service

Objectives To investigate and analysis of elderly people to choose medical-nursing combined aged care institutions and the demands of nursing care service,analysis of the differences in the choice of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions and the demands of nursing service of elderly people under different situations,to explore the influencing factors of the demands of nursing care service for the elderly people in medical-nursing combined aged care institutions.To provide a reference for the development of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,and to provide basis for the development of nursing care service in medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,and to meet the demands of the elderly people for nursing care service in medical-nursing combined aged care institutions.Methods According to the purpose of sampling,a total of 350 elderly people were selected from the six medical-nursing combined aged care institutions registered and operated in the civil affairs departments of Linghe District,Guta District and Taihe City of Jinzhou Ctiy.A questionnaire survey was conducted by using the general information questionnaire of elderly people,the activity of daily living(ADL)scale,and the medical-nursing combined aged care institution nursing care service demands questionnaire.The collected information and data were processed by SPSS22.0 statistical software package.Descriptive statistical analysis,chi-square test,two classification logistic regression analysis,multiple logistic regression analysis and t-test,analysis of variance,Spearman rank correlation test,multiple stepwise linear regression and other medical statistical methods were used to process and analyze the data.The test level α=0.05,with P<0.05 statistically significant.Results 1.A total of 375 questionnaires were distributed,all of which were collected,and 350 valid questionnaires were obtained.The effective recovery rate of 93,99%.The number of elderly people with medical-nursing institutions to set up aged care institutions was 47(13.4%),the number of elderly people with aged care institutions to set up medical-nursing institutions was 204(58.3%).The number of elderly people of cooperation between medical-nursing institutions and aged care institutions was 99(28.3%),the number of elderly people with public non-profit medical-nursing combined aged care institutions was 159(45.4%),the number of elderly people with private for-profit medical-nursing combined aged care institutions was 191(54.6%).2.The factors affecting the choice of different types of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions for the elderly people include the number of illnesses,the number of children,self-care ability,educational level,and monthly income(P<0.05).The factors affecting the choice of different properties of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions for the elderly people include the monthly income,the number of illnesses,the number of children and recognition degree of medical-nursing combined aged care(P<0.05).3.The total demands of nursing care service for the elderly people in medical-nursing combined aged care institutions was(72.36±9.04),the demand of professional nursing service cored the highest(23.13±3.33),followed by basic living care service(19.14±4.79),health care and rehabilitation guidance(15.33±2.59),psychological comfort needs(14.76±2.45).4.There were significant differences in nursing service demands among the elderly people with different education level,monthly income,number of illnesses,self-care ability,recognition degree of medical-nursing combined old-aged care,types of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,and different properties of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions(P < 0.05).5.The factors affecting the demands of nursing care service for the elderly people in medical-nursing combined aged care institutions were the types of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,the self-care ability,the number of illnesses,and the properties of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions(P < 0.05).Conclusions The development of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions in Jinzhou is relatively unbalanced,and there are still differences in the choice of different types of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions and different properties of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions for the elderly.The elderly with a large number of illnesses tend to choose a medical-nuring institutions to set up aged care institutions,elderly people with small number of children and poor self-care ability tend to choose aged care institutions to set up medical-nursing institutions,the elderly with low education level and low monthly income tend to choose the cooperation between medical-nursing institutions and aged care institutions.Elderly people whose monthly incomes from government subsidies and childrenundefineds support tend to choose public non-profit medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,the elderly with high recognition of the medical-nursing combined aged care tend to choose the private for-profit medical-nursing combined aged care institutions.The elderly people have great demands for nursing care service in medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,which mainly focus on the demands of professional nursing care service and basic living care service.The types of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,self-care ability,the number of illnesses and the properties of the medical-nursing combined aged care institutions are the main influencing factors for the nursing care service demands of the elderly.Governments should attach importance to the balanced development of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions and set up the medical-nursing combined aged care institutions in line with local characteristics.Perfecting the inclusion standards of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions and the nursing care service standards of medical-nursing combined aged care institutions,improve the quality of nursing care services.
