Study On The Application Of Day Care Center Case Management In Rural Areas

In today’s increasingly aging society,the needs of older people are increasing.With the continuous growth of the urban economy,more young people tend to go to big cities for development.As a result,a large number of empty nesters have emerged,especially in rural areas where the economy is not well-developed,and the traditional mode of family endowment cannot be fully satisfied.In today’s society,the need for care for the elderly and the day care center just make up for the congenital shortcomings of traditional old-age care.Case management is a new service model popular in the social work field since the 1970s.It is an important part of the community care delivery system.Case management requires workers to assess the needs of various aspects of the service target.When critical,they can break through the scope of the social work professional.Through the combination of direct service and indirect service,the service object can be searched for available practical support networks and service resources.And emphasize the integration and coordination of various services.The social worker is not only a case manager,but also undertakes many functions such as case agency,evaluation,coordination and supervision between the agencies,and advocacy.This article mainly wants to analyze whether the case management can play a positive role for the elderly in the day care center and help them solve the problem by analyzing the two case management cases selected during the day care.The study of case management applied to the day care centers for the elderly in rural areas is mainly divided into the following four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic selection,and the research ideas and methods of this article were carried out.The narrative describes relevant researches on case management application both at home and abroad.It simply distinguishes the related concepts involved in the article.The second part introduces the case management practice that involves the day care center in rural areas.This part contains the theory of this article.The foundation describes the intervention process of the selected cases.The third part is the practical suggestions for the day care center social workers.Based on the summary and analysis of the second part of the practical process,some suggestions are made for the social workers at day care centers;Part of the reflection and discussion are mainly reflections and summaries on the practical process of this article and the limitations and deficiencies in the research process.
