U.S.President Trump issued a series of radical remarks on the trade situation with the Asia-Pacific region,and adopted relatively radical policies in both multilateral and bilateral fields.These policies will produce significant impact.This article believes that it is meaningful to study Trump's Asia-Pacific trade policy on the basis of existing research results.Based on the theoretical evolution of the U.S.foreign trade,this article argues that the Trump administration's trade policy upholds the concept of fair trade and complements strategic trade policies.There are four main aspects to the Trump administration's Asia-Pacific trade policy:the first is to withdraw from TPP,the second is the trade policy toward China,the third is the trade policy with Japan and South Korea.The forth is the characteristics of the policy.The paper analyzes the main influencing factors of the Trump administration's Asia-Pacific trade policy from three aspects.The first is the impact of economic globalization and the arise trend of anti-globalization in American society.The second is the domestic discussion in the United States.The third is the overall interaction of economic policies.The assessment of Trump's government's Asia Pacific trade policy is mainly conducted in three aspects:the impact on the U.S.domestic economic development,the impact on Sino-U.S.Relations,the U.S.-Asia Pacific alliance.On this basis,this article judges the future development of Trump Asia-Pacific trade policy.The analysis focuses on four aspects:First,the United States returns to the situation of TPP;second,the trend of trade policy toward China;third,the trend of trade policy toward allies.Forth,the main factors affecting the Trump administration's Asia Pacific trade policy.
