Analysis On The Construction And Influencing Factors Of The Social Status Discordance In Urban China

Since the 1990s,Chinese sociologists have carried out a lot of empirical research and theoretical discussion on the status and formation mechanism of the people's class status,and have accumulated fruitful research results.Based on the data of China's comprehensive social survey,this paper discusses the construction of the discordance of social class status identification,analyzes the present situation of the status of urban residents identity in China from the perspective of international comparison,and further analyzes the influencing factors of urban residents' identityIt is found that:1.In the use of the international standard socioeconomic status index as the objective class status indicators of the respondents,the subjective class status and socioeconomic status index of the corresponding analysis of the results show that 45 points below classified as social lower,46 points to 65 points classified as the middle of society,66 points and above is divided into the upper and middle,and then according to the individual income level and education level of two additional indicators of its fine-tuning,the results show that the objective social stratum structure,social status discordance structure and construction this method is superior to other grouping methods.2.Through the multi-country comparison of the subjective identity stratigraphic structure and the hierarchical status of the hierarchical identity,China's urban residents' subjective class identity structure has shown a downward trend and an increase in the middle class and middle and upper levels since 2006.Compared to the structure of foreign social identity to the 1970s,the degree of identity downwards show a gradual reduction in the trend.3.The respondents'self-objective status as a reference to the class status of the identity of the comparison found that the overall recognition of urban residents in China is positive,but in the East Asian countries or regions is the highest degree of overvaluation of the country,the objective class within There are obvious differences in the objective of the lower and middle of the people to accurately understand the level of their own class status is higher,located in the objective level of the people of accurate cognitive status in the various countries and regions at a low level.4.The analysis of the factors affecting the status of urban residents 'identity is that in urban,urban household registration and age increase have negative effects on urban residents' underestimation of their status,and education and income growth.There is a positive effect;with the education level,income,age and growth of men for urban residents overestimate their status are showing a negative effect,and social security and marriage is showing a positive effect.5.The level of macro redistribution and the increase of tax burden have a"valve limit" effect on the role of high-income earners in underestimating or overestimating their own class status.
