The Research On The Management Optimization Of Guangdong Compulsory Isolation For D Rug Rehabilitation From The Perspective Of Participatory Governance

It is an indisputable fact that drug-taking causes serious damage to indiv idual,society and nation.In this case,the management of drug rehabilitat ion plays an important role in the build ing of a strong socialist modernized country with Chinese characteristics.The existing compulsory isolat ion managem ent of drug rehabilitat ion which transformed from rehabilitation through labor is based on drug addiction mechanism,using various scientific methods to s trengthen drug addicts’ awareness and ability on drug resistance.However,a high relapse rate draws us to reflect on whether it conforms to the intention of drug rehabilitat ion? Is it able to be optimized and how to optim ize it ?The thesis is going to use participatory governance theory and the research method of participatory observation and questionnaire to figure out the problems and their reasons of compulsory isolat ion for drug rehabilitat ion and finally g ive detailed solut ions and suggestions.The research finds a high relapse rate among drug addicts who have experienced compulsory isolat ion drug rehabilitat ion.That challenges the isolated management of drug rehabilitat ion.From the perspective of participatory governance,the questions are that the right,the will and the way that drug addicts and their families,the police and the social organ izat ions concerning drug rehabilitat ion particip ate in the manag ement have been restricted,the order is unidirectional conservative and the participating depth is still insufficient.The government should use the legal system to ensure them to participate fully and effectively in the managem ent and respond to the actual demand of the drug rehabilitat ion managem ent.Thus,an inclusive system of compulsory isolat ion for drug rehabilitat ion can be established and the compulsory isolation center for drug rehabilitat ion can be a typical community drug rehabilit ation model with a wall only in form.
