Research On The People Police's Performance Assessment System In Yongdeng Prison Gansu Province

With the generalization and application of Performance Management in the government,Performance Management in prison has also achieved great progress.As the core of Performance Management,Performance Assessment has a significant effect on the improvement of prison's management levels and improvement of quality training among prison policemen.Serving as the organization of executive punishment,Gansu provincial prison has fell behind in the aspect of Performance Assessment,compared with that of developed provinces as well as certain pilot areas.The reasons are as follows: emphasis of the realization of the organization goals;ignorance of the realization of personal Performance Management;lack of connection between personage and organization in refining and quantizing index;single Assessment mode;general and sweeping index;formalization of Assessment mode,etc.This paper,under the current circumstances,taking the example of Yongdeng Prison,is going to discuss the optimization of the policeman's personal Performance Assessment System.By means of KPI and 360 Assessment method,making use of interviews and questionnaire,combing the practices with theories,this paper tends to redesign the policeman's personal Performance Assessment System.Through the combination of theories and practices,it intends to achieve the goal of refining and quantizing of organization goals.This paper emphasizes Performance reflection and results application,provides evidences and support to “ rewards and punishment”.Hence,to achieve the goal of perfecting incentive system,arousing the enthusiasm and activeness of prison policemen,inspiring their potential.To add on to that,this paper is going to provide measures for prison policemen management's normalization and elaboration.Besides,this paper is also going to provide references for the development of Gansu province's Performance Assessment during the process of prison policemen management.
