A Thesis On Performance Assessment Of Public Security Policemen In The Economic Development Zone Branchof Dalian Public Security Bureau

With the continuous growing and development of western modern management concepts,many enterprises and public institutions have brought in advanced western management mode since the reform and opening-up in consideration of their own needs,forming a scientific and thorough performance assessment system to improve the total efficiency and productivity.Since "deepen reform of the system for the management of officials and personnel and build a contingent of competent key officials for governance" was proposed in the 18th Party Congress,President Xi stressed that "to improve the performance assessment method,it is essential to think about both development and foundation,obvious and potential achievement,taking welfare improvement,society progress,ecological benefits as important checking contents." Therefore,how to improve working efficiency within public institutions with public management method is a fundamental issue.The thesis comes to a conclusion based on related concepts and theories of public management through comparison,research and literature review,relying on the actual on-going performance assessment of policemen in the Economic Development Zone Branch of Dalian Public Security Bureau.Solutions are also provided for probable problems that may occur during the assessment to improve the assessment system and working efficiency in Economic Development Zone Branch.
