The Research On China's Military Officer Professionalization Based On The Survey Of XX Troops

The professionalism of military officer,as a scientific officer system,has been accepted and applied by more and more countries around the world.Military practice has proved that the implementation of the system is conducive to improve the general ability of military officers,to attract and retain military personnel,to enhance the cohesion of the army,and to improve the combat effectiveness of the army.The development of professionalism in China,however,has a late start and is still at a junior level which means it cannot meet the needs of national defense and military construction.At present,how to accelerate the development of China's military officer professionalization has become a practical and urgent task.This research covers the connotation,characteristics and necessity of military officer professionalism as well as the development course in China.Through interview and questionnaire,the research investigates the status quo of the professionalization of the officers in XX troops,and obtains the basic characteristics: the intention for professionalization of the officers is strong,the professionalization system is basically established,and the level of its construction has been gradually improved.This research also analyzes the existing problems of professionalization in XX troops from the aspects of officers' cognition,career expectation,vocational training,occupational guarantee and supporting measures.After the investigation and research,this research concludes that there are three main causes of the existing problems,namely,the backwardness of professionalization concepts,the late start of the professionalization and the lack of military capital investment.In view of the existing problems and causes,the research also draws lessons from the successful experience of the foreign armies,and puts forward the countermeasures for the construction of China's military officer professionalization in four aspects: cultivating the concept of professionalization,improving the system of military human resources management,improving the training system of officers and strengthening the supporting system for officers.
