Case Study On The Role Of Government In The Renovation Of Old District Of South Line In Cuiping,Yibin

The rapid urbanization will causes population agglomeration and area expansion.However,the urban construction and environmental quality are often difficult to be improved simultaneously.Old urban areas are easily prone to urban problems,such as building deterioration,traffic disruption,outdated infrastructure and environmental pollution.Renovating the old city is crucial to the urban development.Old city renovation,including the renewal,restoration and protection of old facilities,and decayed industries,refers to reconstruct the old urban areas with poor conditions.The scientific and orderly renovation of the old city will improve the living environment,urban infrastructure and city competitiveness.It can help to seek the new growth points in urban development and stimulate new vitality.At present,in the process of urbanization,China is in a period of rapid development that renovation of the old city is a problem that all cities are encountering.However,there has been no unified standard and definition for the role of government in the old city renovation.Different cities have different practices in terms of renovation methods,with different public policies,organizational methods,renovation modes,renovation standards,etc.This article studies the case of the roles of government in the “South Line” renovation in Cuiping District,Yibin,Sichuan.From the perspective of public management,the article based on the principles of administrative ecology,public goods theory,governance and good governance,and other economics and management theories,analyzes how the urban government in the renovation of the old city correctly established the organizational operating agency,provided public product services,balanced the interests of all parties,in order to summarize the scientific and accurate role of the urban government in the renovation of the old city.In the end,it provides effective suggestions for resolving the problems and conflicts in the old city renovation,and brings experience of efficient and sustainable promotion of the old city renovation to the Cuiping District and other areas.The Chapter 1 of this paper gives a brief overview of the research background,research significance,research methods,research framework,and other contents,and researched the core concepts and related literature.Chapter 2 studies the definition,status,significance and existing problems of the role of government in the old city renovation and analyzes the typical significance of the study of the government's role in the "South Line" old city renovation project.Chapter 3 describes the basic situation and achievements of the "South Line" old city renovation project in Cuiping District,Yibin.Chapters 4 to 6 mainly introduce and analyze the key factors and typical practices of the government's roles of the Cuiping District in the “South Line” old city renovation.Chapter 7 summarizes the research implications of the rational position of government's roles in the "South Line" old city renovation.Chapter 8 summarizes the research.
