"Theory-Skill Combination" Education Characteristics And Inspiration Of Primary Physical Education Teachers In United States

Physical education teacher education in United States has always maintained advanced ranks and its education concepts are demonstrations. Currently, China are facing significant pressure, misunderstandings and conflicts of PE teacher education reform, so it is necessary to learn valuable experience from United States. Literature, comparative and comprehensive analysis methods were used in present research, and large amounts of education situation materials of primary physical education teachers in United States are collected and analyzed.PE teacher education situation in United States was discussed. In the respect of entry requirements and the curriculum, United States attaches great importance to "theory" and the proportion of theory is more than technology, which shows the trait of "theory helps skill"; In respect of education practice and assessment certification, "theory-skill combination" is crucial. The "theory helps skill" concept also belongs to "theory-skill combination", so the education characteristics and inspiration of primary PE teachers in United States is "theory-skill combination".There are many problems of PE teacher education in China. From the essence, the biggest problem is theory-skill separation, and theory-practice separation. Only from the two aspects, the PE teacher education would be solved appropriately.On the basis of primary PE teacher education, some suggestions and enlightenments are put forward. There are macro level and micro level. In macro level, it is important to pay more attention to education concepts of "theory-skill combination". In micro level, it is important to reduce enrollment conditions, pay attention to diversity innovative talents cultivation, set more practical course and improve the internship program and integrate authentication system.
