As for school-based training, teachers is the mainstay of it and it is also a significant way to develop researching study and achieve professional development of itself. Throughout the studies about school-based training of compulsory school, many problems that will obstacle the development of school-based training are still on. The most outstanding problem is neglecting teachers' needs, including lack of specification and effectiveness. Therefore, many teachers lack initiation and consciousness in school-based training. The thesis probes the teachers' needs of school-based training from objective, content, form and regulation. It is featured as effectiveness, differential and dynamics. By doing research on the current situation of school-based training in compulsory schools in Lingling Town Yongzhou City, it shows the current situation of compulsory schools-emphasizing supplication not needs of teachers. For this phenomenon, strategies are as follows: understandind the teachers' needs and then setting up the target of school-based training with the consideration of philosophy of schooling;extracting the teachers' needs and then carry out a school-based training from “problem”to “theme”; consummating reward system and then motivating the “engines” of teachers;grasping the teachers' needs and then providing the booster for school-based training. It hopes that current study can help schools and related administrations to understand the teachers' practical needs further and provide some helpful suggestions for carrying out school-based trainings.
