The Research Of Psychosocial Treatment Pattern For Retarded Adults’ Interpersonal Communication

In recent years, there exit the low employment and entrepreneurship and the phenomenon of poor life quality on the adults with intellectual disabilities. It is the physical, psychological and social factors that cause their poor interpersonal and social integration abilities. In order to solve this problem and improve the interpersonal abilities of the adults with intellectual disabilities so as to they can adapt to social life better. Under the guidance of the psychosocial treatment mode, the author try to carry out professional social work, and try to explore a set of adults with intellectual disabilities interpersonal skills improving social work practice and skill reference methods, which is under the guidance of the psychosocial treatment mode. The author takes Y client who is accepting service in the sunshine home as an example to show that, under the guidance of the psychosocial treatment mode theory, through the psychological, physiological and social factors, the social worker how to analyze Y client interpersonal problems in detail. The writer uses the method of interview and observation to collect data, and diagnoses Y client’s problems and assesses his requirements, so as to determine the service goal. Then the social worker starts specific services through the case work.This article, under the guidance of the psychosocial treatment model, by using case work professional skills, serves for Y client from the physical and mental and social perspective, and pays attention to excavate his potential. The final service effect is that Y client’s confidence has been built up gradually and he has have the courage to speak in public; Second, with the gradual elimination of inferiority, Y has not discriminated the disabled and learned to help others initiatively; Third, through the painting treatment, Y client’s language barriers has reduced; Fourth, Y has established his own correct concept of love; Fifth, the social support system of Y case has been built; What the service can’t reach the destination is that it is difficult to deal with interpersonal friction and conflict for him, which needs to strengthen training.Finally, through the whole process of practice, the author has drawn the main conclusion, that is, first of all, when solving the patient’s problem, psychosocial treatment patterns can analyze the matters more comprehensively and pay more attention to mobilize clients’ resources around them so that we can help them improve the surrounding environment; Second, psychosocial treatment model has its limitations, that is, it views the relationship between social worker and client as the relationship between doctors and patients; Third, when carrying out the practical social work for the adults with intellectual disabilities, the social workers must have enough patience and empathy.
