This article is based on the documents, comparative analysis, expert interviews and mathematical statistics to all-around compare the “National student's physical health standards”of 2007 and 2014, and detailed analyze the development of the test item, quality types of test item, weight coefficient, dimensions, evaluation rating and evaluation standards between the old“standards”and the latest, and analyze the reasons and basis of these adjustments.Underlies the comparing and analysis of the old and the latest “standards”and based on the data of constitution within the 3837 students of second grade in Nanjing University of Science and Technology, this article is based on the evaluation standards to calculate the scores of various types of tests, the final scores and the ranks, and then compare and verify the data. The conclusions come from comparison and analysis of the“standards”and the test data are following:(1)It is more convenient to carry out the test work and the vertical comparison to the test result after the optional items change to the compulsory items in the new“Standards”.The publishment of the BMI items and others and the exit of the old items such as the step test lead to a more scientific content of the test.(2)Between the three indicator dimensionalities stated in the new“Standards”of body shape, function, constitution,the test of athletic ability is canceled. This measure means it will pay more attention to the comprehensive and persistence development of the constitution and it will benefit to the vertical comparison to the result of the constitution test. After the codification of the“Standards”,the stamina Dominated items become more than ever before and highlight the core standards include the constitution, and enlarge the percent of the core standards.(3)The evaluation standards in the new“Standards”has increased the requirement of the excellent rank and decreased the requirement of the pass rank. The degree of distinction are detailing in the most item evaluation sheet. After the new“Standards”carries out,the rate of pass rank has increased, but the rate of excellent rank and good rank has declined. The setting of bonus point items has broaden the restrict of reaching the standard. It will help to encourage the students' strong point, draw on each other's strength and promote the equality.Underlies the above conclusion, this article find the new standard's enlightenment to the physical education in universities and expect this article can provide a reference to reform the physical education in universities and enhance the university students' constitution. According to the all-around comparison between the old“standards”and the new and the true condition of the constitution test, the author propose the following suggestions:(1)to adjust the test items;(2)to adjust the test time;(3)to establish some physical optional courses in the junior year and senior year, and adjust the test standards in the university;(4)teachers should go deep to research and study the “Standards”,and should enhance the publicity and guidance to the students.
