Survey On Faculty Training In Special Education Of Higher Vacational College A

With the progress of the society and development of the economy, special education is quite concerned by government of every country. Faculty training of special education is a crucial step to promote the quality. One of significant measures to achieve plans is to organize a skillful and qualified faculty, for which, our country made a policy:"Put the improvement of faculty of special education in advance". Developing higher education of special education is our orientation, which aims to raise the competency of living, working, and communicating skills of disabled people. Thus it is very important to improve faculty training.This thesis is focused on the situation of faculty training in special education of higher vacational college A, which is centered on combination with quantitative and qualitative analysis. We surveyed on college A's basic information, relevant certificates, post situation, and recognition and requirements for training. On one hand, through the survey, we know induction training and on-the-job training and get the feedback of effect and requirements, which enables us to understand what the faculty training focuses on, as well as what kind of training the teachers will require. On the other hand, we deeply researched the defects and suggestion of faculty training of special education of higher vocational college A by talking with teachers, training leaders and major dean in different ages, professional backgrounds and teaching period in face-to-face way privately which puts forward the reference and proposals in order to serve students better. The thesis is based on the results of the questionnaire on statistic analysis which is under a discussion with variety of relative affairs. It also summarizes the problems and causes of the problem in the faculty training of college A, such as low professional level, inadequate induction training, misfit arrangement of the course, defectiveness of national finance income, single way of training, lacks of judgments system.At Last, this thesis proposed strategies and suggestions for fulfillment of special training of college A:the first one is to enlarge governmental financial support and the channel of faculty's training; the second one is to modify the training system and coursing arrangement of special education of normal higher vocational college A; the third one is to improve the industrial standard system of special education of higher vocational colleges; the forth one is to set up evaluation system.
