College and university teachers' professional development is the core strategy to improve the quality of higher education, and has become the consensus of the all circles of society. At present, the mode and mechanism of college and university teachers' professional development have neglected the intrinsic value and motivation of teachers. The training mode of "heteroorganization", it is very difficult to achieve the professional development of college and university teachers spontaneously and continuously. The process of college and university teachers' professional development is not a simple linear process, it is not the process of "heteroorganization",but a self-organization evolution process that internal cause is decisive and the internal and external causes takes effect in together.College and university teachers' professional integration, professional innovation and professional wisdom generation must be completed by self-organization, external forces have to achieve the professional development of college and university teachers through the self-organization mechanism.The research object of the study is the process of the professional system development of college and university teachers.To explore the self-organization evolution of college and university teachers' professional development and promote the teachers' professional development of self direction and endogeny through the investigation and analysis of the complex environment of teachers professional development by literature analysis and survey research method under the guidance of the self-organization theory.Study found that professional system of College and university teachers belonging to dissipative structure,and have open, nonequilibrium, nonlinear, autonomy characteristics. Different stages of college and university teachers' professional development have different order parameters, the ultimate order parameter of college and university teachers' professional development is the teachers' demand satisfaction.The internal factors and external factors of the professional system of college and university teachers are transformed into the power of development through the non-linear coupling effect.Through the competition and cooperation between the professional elements, the order parameters have been produced, and dominate the direction of teachers' professional development,eventually become a new mode of interactive effect among professional elements and new professional system structure.
