Teacher professionalism and teacher professional development in recent years become the focus of international education issues. Particularly in the field of higher education, teacher professional development to improve the quality of higher education plays a vital role. As a result of the last century 90's Expansion of China's policies of colleges and universities, making the quality of higher education emerged in the decline in local issues, which need more urgent attention to all colleges and universities and teachers the importance of teacher professional development, because it is not only the needs of colleges and universities to develop , It is college teachers self-development. Professional development of teachers colleges and universities in our country is still the early stages of development.In this paper, the current university teachers professional development analysis of the status quo, trying to find the problems and the causes of the problem. By comparing the law, literature and other scientific methods to draw the ultimate professional development of teachers in colleges and universities in our country there is generally less than seven ways, and then analyze specific issues in accordance with the principles and ideas put forward recommendations designed to discover problems through to solve the problem the ultimate aim of our colleges and universities to promote the purpose of professional development of teachers.
