| With the development of multi-media technology and the popularization of the internet, micro-study has gradually spread out and micro-lecture has come into being as a newly-developing mode of study. Nowadays, the study of micro-lecture in China is still at the stage of developing and the qualities of existing micro-lectures are uneven. The current micro-lectures for middle school new biology class cannot meet the needs of teaching. Therefore, on the basis of current micro-lecture study and in accordance with the characteristics of middle school biology discipline, this thesis develops a principle and model for middle school new biology discipline and at the same time the author applies the micro-lectures in the teaching practice.In this thesis, the author presents the background of the thesis, the current studies of micro-lectures both domestic and overseas, the problems of current studies, the methodology of literature, the methodology of research, the methodology of education experiments and according to the aims and significant of the study the author establishes the approach of research. The author proposes the definition of “micro-lectures” by the analysis of current studies. At the same time, the author identifies “new class”. Regarding to the design of micro-lectures, the author analyzes the process of micro-lecture design and issues that need to be paid attention to, based on a variety of theories including cognitive load theory, education communication theory, connectivism learning and visual-audio learning theory. The author analyzes the characteristics of middle school students’ cognition development and the characteristics of middle school biology classes. The author then develops the principle and model of middle school new biology class micro-lecture design. The thesis adopts the method of Screen CAP which applies soft wares including Camtasia Studio 8.6, PowerPoint 2013, and Mindjet Mind Manager. And the author also introduces how to use Camtasia Studio 8.6 to produce videos. According to the author’s research results, the author produces a micro-lecture on the chapter one of the textbook for middle school Animals in the Biosphere. The author applies graphs to present the mind map, micro teaching plan, micro worksheets and micro videos for the chapter and the author also designs the lesson. The author applies the micro-lecture in teaching practice and analyze the statistics and interviews. The creation of this thesis is the principle and model of middle school new biology class micro-lecture design, especially the mind map used in micro-lecture.According to the research of this thesis, the application of micro-lecture benefits the transformation of current teaching model and improves the teaching effects. |
