The Risk Identification And Risk Evaluation Of MOOC Project

MOOCs is the product of the combination of the internet technology and contemporary education.In 2012,three MOOCs platforms,Udacity,Coursera and edX were founded.The idea of MOOCs is to provide large-scale,high quality online courses,so that learners are able to use network to get access to the high-quality curriculum resources in spite of their locations and backgrounds.The rise of MOOCs has aroused wide concern and hot discussion in various circles of society.Although the development tendency of MOOCs is yet to be examined by time and discussed by deeper research,it's undeniable that MOOCs have influenced the traditional university courses as well as online courses.And the influence is definitely going to stay in the future.MOOCs breaks the space and geographical restrictions of education so that more learners can get access to the high-quality education resources,which has important significance for educational equality and lifelong learning.Many domestic universities have cooperated with domestic and international MOOCs platforms.Since that the teaching mode and operating mode of MOOCs haven't been fully proven yet,the universities should prudently evaluate the risks and feasibilities of cooperation projects with MOOCs platforms instead of blindly following the trend of joining in MOOCs.Besides,effective measures also should be adopted to avoid risks during the process of cooperation projects to ensure the projects are carried out smoothly and achieve expected result.This paper introduces the related concepts of MOOCs,applies risk management theory to risk identification and risk evaluation of MOOC project.By adopting environment analysis method,low chart analysis method,SWOT analysis method and expert investigation method to identify the external and internal risk of MOOC project,this paper presents the MOOC project's risk system.Based on AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods,an evaluation model of MOOC project's comprehensive risk is proposed.By taking "Reference Management and Information Analysis" course as an example which is cooperatively developed by University of Science and Technology of China and Chinese university MOOC platform,this paper discusses the application of the comprehensive risk evaluation model and provides risk measures to prevent major project risk.The innovation of this thesis is the raise of MOOC project's risk system and evaluation model of MOOC project's comprehensive risk,which enriches the risk management research on MOOC project and the academic research on MOOCs,provides certain reference for risk management of MOOC project,and has significance on the development of MOOCs in the future.
