Information exists in our life, The integration of information technology into their lives has become the main goal of the current development of our country, it is not enough in Chinese's education, especially in the ability of applying information technology of teaching in primary and secondary school teachers, making teachers teaching application of the information technology ability standard to teachers in information technology have a certain reference value. The information technology of American have a rapidly development and the investment of education efforts is bigger. The information technology teaching application ability standard in primary and secondary school teachers also have a Longer development period and rich contend, the United States in teachers applying information technology ability has a unique advantage, so the analysis of bilateral primary and secondary school teachers in information technology teaching application ability standard has a very good reference and reference to China.We choose the teachers information ability certification standard (AECT,2012) and China's "primary and secondary school teachers in information technology application ability standard< trial>" for contrasting,because the two standard making in a similar time by a authority. This paper adopts the methods of analysis and comparativ to compare research institutions, development personnel, applicable object,content and so on, summed up the essential differences between the two standards, In the applicable object, the United States is for pre service teachers, our country is for teachers; In the promulgation of the organization and implementation of strength, the United States by the authority but the implementation process is not mandatory, China is the Ministry of Education promulgated and implemented the mandatory; In the content, we can get the following enlightenment from American standards:first, focusing on the creation; second, paying attention to teachers' reflection; third, paying attention to student diversity; fourth, paying attention to the leadership, teachers' role; fifth, paying attention to teachers' cooperation; sixth, paying attention to occupation ethics. Analying the United States and China in the teacher teaching application of the information technology ability standard, and learning from America's advantage can improve and lay the foundation for China's primary and secondary school teachers teaching of information technology application ability standards.
