Since the new reform of curriculum, the teaching mode has changed with the changing of teaching concept and the domestic. Education researchers began to introduce new teaching modes from foreign countries. In 2011, the flipped classroom became the focus of education research. This kind of teaching mode completely reversed the traditional teaching mode. Students learning the knowledge before class and mastering the knowledge in class,with reflects the idea of "student oriented". In this paper, the author will study the application of a flipped classroom model based on micro video and guiding case in junior middle school Chemistry Teaching. I hope this new teaching mode can optimize the junior high school chemistry teaching.In this paper, the meaning of flipped classroom, guiding case and micro video is explained. The research status of flipped classroom especially chemical flipped classroom and the typical patterns of the flipped classroom at home and abroad are summarized too. The author constructs the flipped classroom teaching mode based on guiding case and micro video, designs specific guiding case and micro video and carries out the practice. The possibility of this flipped classroom teaching mode is to be tested through the questionnaire survey and paper test.It turns out that the final examination scores of the experimental class are significantly higher than those of the control group. The flipped classroom model based on micro video and guiding case can effectively improve students' interest in chemistry and self-learning ability. The annoyance of missing a class can also be solved. After the application of flipped classroom teaching, learning in the class becomes more relaxed and the communicationbetween teacher and students become more frequently. Students have sufficient time and opportunities to solve the problems. Joining the guiding case lets students' learning before class become more efficient. In a word, the application of flipped classroom teaching to chemistry can optimize chemical teaching.
