This paper firstly illustrates a relevant concept of the “extension teaching”. To define the conception : Chinese teaching is based on the teaching material, the teaching reached out to a bigger space, it can improve the efficiency of teaching,introduce the content out of the classroom which to help students understand, to help students from the one to the other,draw inferences about other cases from one instance, achieve the best effect of teaching. Get the enlightenment from Constructivism learning theory and the cognitive theory of migration,clear the meaning of teaching extension: stimulate students' interest in learning of the language, improve the classroom teaching efficiency, cultivate students' divergent thinking, broaden the students knowledge, stimulate students' inner feelings, cultivate students' writing ability, enhance the ability of literature evaluation. Then combine with some teaching examples to explore how to conduct the extent teaching, Discussed teacher's request of extent teaching in turn,summarized five principles to obey and specific extension way. Finally through the discussion of Chinese classroom teaching, this paper pay attention to three major problems in the language classroom extension.We can draw the following conclusion about extension of teaching: There is a great advantage in the teaching extension,this concept should be accept by all the teachers. Teaching extension should be compatible with the classroom teaching,extension should have certain content and the breadth, it needs to infect students' emotion, has some interest. Except to make the teaching extension more standardizing and systematic through the strategy proposed,the implementation of Chinese teaching extension can also rule-based and guide with trace.
