Under the background of the new entrance exam reform in our country, on the one hand, a chemical discipline score and the chemical discipline status is to reduce,on the other hand, requirements for the cultivation of the students raised. This change has been a major influence on middle school chemistry teachers' teaching, this is also bound to affect its to be engaged in middle school chemistry teachers professional identity level to some extent. On the basis of previous research results,from the teachers' professional environment,teachers' professional knowledge, sense of professional competence of teachers, teachers' professional behavioral tendency,profession emotion five dimensions constructed questionnaire(the test has good reliability and validity). the self-made questionnaire investigate the status quo of jiangxi province middle school chemistry teachers' professional identity, and analyze the reasons behind the current situation exists, then propose some countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the level of Jiangxi middle school chemistry teachers' professional identity. Through the survey of 108 middle school chemistry teachers in Jiangxi province, the research conclusions are as following:(1) Overall, Jiangxi province middle school chemistry teachers' professional identity in the average level, but identity level on the five dimensions are not equal,the highest identity level is sense of professional competence of teachers, the rest is in turn teachers professional knowledge, professional behavioral tendency, professional emotion, the lowest identity level is professional environment.(2) Middle school chemistry teachers' professional identity influenced by gender,seniority, education, monthly salary, marital status, different period of teaching and other objective factors.At last,from the aspects of teachers' vocational training,teachers' self development,teachers' salaries,school care, the author puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promoto the professional identity level of the middle school chemistry teachers in Jiangxi province.
