The quality-oriented development of higher vocational education need to develop the school quality, to explore quality improvement ways and means to gradually become the focus research of higher vocational education. As an important means to ensure professional quality, professional accreditation can significantly enhance the level of specialty construction in higher vocational colleges.As the important foundation of higher vocational education, profession is an important link in higher vocational colleges to contact industry demand, and a profound cooperation to carry out the cooperation between colleges and enterprises. So, the quality of professional construction becomes a key factor affecting the quality-oriented development of higher vocational education. The analysis of the importance of specialty construction can prove the important role of professional accreditation in higher vocational education professional construction. It can improve the institutional environment, ensure environment and resource of colleges, solve inside problems of professional construction. So, it's necessary to introduce the professional accreditation to higher vocational education.However, the target orientations, organizational structure, quality standard of professional construction have some problems. There are reasons, including the lack of concept of talent training, industry enterprises can't participate in professional construction, lack of important awareness of third parties, lack of powerful enforcement mechanism in professional evaluation, etc.Through the methods of literature analysis and comparative analysis, research on the professional construction of the United States, Britain and higher engineering education in China, find some experience and enlightenment. Based on all of those, construct professional accreditation in higher vocational education. Such as, establishing the legal, policy and operation mechanism system to strengthen professional certification top-level design, forming preliminary semi-official professional accreditation organization and equipped with its staff to ensure professional accreditation carried out steadily, establishing a rigorous, complete certification program and scientific and reasonable standard of certification to provide technical support of professional accreditation.
