The high-quality Chinese class teaching is from efficient teaching content,which is not only the core,but also the breakout point of teaching.As the Chinese courses are undergoing reform and new development,the teaching contents should follow the new teaching concept accordingly.Chinese is an integrated and practical course of utilizing the language,emphasizing language learning and utilization by students.In curriculum standards for high-school students,the setting of course concept and teaching advice also centers on the language.Therefore,paying attention to language and its form are essential for Chinese teaching.Novel is an art of language,implying the wisdom of language.Learning novel is learning language.Thus highlighting the teaching of language form is of great importance in novel teaching.Pragmatics is the study of language use.It is the same as the nature of Chinese curriculum which is put forward in the new curriculum.We introduce the relevant knowledge of pragmatics to provide new perspectives for novel teaching,reconstitute novel teaching concept and teaching content,Through questionnaire,interview and case study,this research studies the current status of speech form in novel teaching of Chinese teachers in three high schools.The following problems are analyzed:overlook on speech form teaching,shallow understanding of speech form,excessive focus on the expression form,insufficient attention to students’ study and utilization of speech form,etc..Therefore,the author puts forward a series of strategies with combination of pragmatics knowledge to improve the teaching of novel speech form,including attaching importance to context teaching to better find out the meaning of speech;paying attention to speech form to better understand the wisdom of expression,and focusing on pragmatic subject to better learn the utilization of language.Reasonable and effective novel teaching contents is of great importance for realizing novel teaching and the goal of literature education.Students could further understand the novel text,promote emotional experience and aesthetic experience,and improve their literature quality and language use ability only through effective teaching content.The author wants to cultivate the students’ ability of appreciation,understanding and using the language through introducing the relevant pragmatics knowledge and discussing the teaching of novel language form.
