It is indispensable for maintaining students'learning motivation and improving teaching quality that we should enhance participation of student in classroom interaction.Flipped classroom which supports students to learn knowledge in advance and discuss in classroom, provides a new path to enhance students' participation in a certain extent. In this paper, The author firstly study the feasibility of using the flipped classroom to enhance edge learners' participation in classroom interaction. Compared with the traditional teaching mode, this study explores the changes of data about classroom participation of edge learners under the flipped classroom teaching mode. Therefore, how to define edge learners, how to design teaching practice, and how to analyze classroom participation data, become the key to this study.The aim of this study are to test whether flipped classroom has the actual effect for improving edge learners'participation, to analyze whether the flipped classroom teaching factors have a positive or negative impact on edge learner participation, and finally provide some design suggestions of flipped classroom to enhance edge learners' participation.This study mainly uses the research methods of comparative teaching practice, interview, questionnaire investigation and observation, to collect data of 14 edge learners of two classes in a high school, trying to understand the participation attitudes of edge learners in the classroom collaborative inquiry, the changes of participation under the different teaching modes, and the actually learning subjective experience in the flipped classroom, so as to analyze actual effect of the flipped classroom on edge learners'participation. Summarizing the research results, at the theoretical level, this study analyzes the advantages of the flipped classroom in enhancing edge learners'participation, and puts forward corresponding teaching practice suggestions to enhance edge learners'participation in the flipped classroom; at the practical level, it has optimized the teaching design of enhancing the edge learners' participation in the flipped classroom, which makes the edge learners have more opportunities to participate in the interaction of classroom collaborative inquiry.
