In the 21 st century, informatization is booming, and has produced many new things, and is changing the world. As WeChat, MicroBlog, Micro film sadly arisen, a "micro forces" is influencing and changing people's life. As a product of education informatization, micro course becomes a new force, which is bringing a change to the traditional teaching mode. The traditional classroom activity type video resources have the disadvantages of playing a long time, having a large volume of file, which is not conducive to use. But micro course overcomes the above disadvantages, and it fits the pattern of learners' attention, therefore, more and more researchers begin to look at the course. Micro course combined with the specific subject teaching research is also increasing. Keeping up with the trend of The Times, this paper explores the ways of combining micro course and high school chemistry. The example of the research is Chemical material and its change, which is taken from Book One of PEP's chemical textbook of senior high school.This paper first describes the research background. Then through the literature research, we will understand the present situation of domestic and foreign research, find that study of the course is still in its infancy, the connotation of the micro course is debatable, but the research on micro course presents the trend of rapid development, and micro course applied to specific subjects teaching becomes the focus of attention. Next, this paper summarizes the purpose, significance, innovation point, ideas and methods of this study. Then, this paper introduces some representative curriculum connotations, and determines the constructivism theory, the mastery learning theory as micro theoretical basis of the teaching mode. This paper put forward the design method of the course from the micro type, design principle, design thinking, and classifies the ways of how to make micro course from different angles and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of various production way. After completing the work, the author design and make several micro courses based on chemicals and its change content analysis and the analysis of the learning. Finally, the paper summarizes the research work, and discusses the future research on micro course.Through the research, the author found that the micro course is beneficial in improving the quality of high school chemistry teaching. The applying of micro course in high school chemistry teaching is imperative. Micro course design requires that we take factors like feasibility, practicability, and interestingness etc. into consideration. It's production requires application of a variety of technical means. The design and production methods of micro course put forward by the author are not detailed enough, and it still remains to be further researched.
