In the area of education, teacher's development and school-family collaboration are different research topics and have different practical logic. They have not been in a status of integration. The research focuses on the value of school-family collaboration to teacher's development. The dissertation tries to answer the following questions:What value is there of school-family collaboration to teacher's development? What aspect is the finiteness of value of school-family collaboration to teacher's development? What conditions are needed to implement the value? Based on these questions the dissertation carries out a challenging trip of thought.This research in the introduction gives a sketch of the reasons for the choice, the research questions and the process of the research, the definition of the core concepts and research significance.The main content of the first chapter is literature review about teacher's development and school-family collaboration, and finds the relationship between teacher's development and school-family collaboration.The second chapter is the reconstruction of teacher's development theory. Teacher's development has property of life and symbiosis. It requires teachers to integrate relevant development resources and contribute to individual consciousness of development. Teacher can't avoid the field of school-family collaboration which is an important composition of teacher's development resources. This highlights the importance of school-family collaboration to teacher's development.The third chapter mainly demonstrates the value of school-family collaboration to teacher's development. School-family collaboration can provide organizational guarantee for the development of teachers, promote teacher's educational ability. It also can update teacher's educational ideas and sublimate teacher's educational sentiment. To a certain extent it can satisfy teacher's security needs, belonging and love needs, esteem needs and self-actualization needs.From the perspective of finiteness the fourth chapter illustrates the value of school-family collaboration to teacher's development. The value of school-family collaboration has limitation. The value depends on the synergy of relevant subjects. School-family collaboration has restriction in practice. The analysis from the perspective of finiteness is an inevitable process to fully understand the value.The fifth chapter proposes some principles from the perspective of realizing the value, and also puts forward the implementation strategies from the country, school, teacher and parent.From the perspective of the research method, the conclusion part discusses the possibility of related research and from the perspective of value fusion, it does some developmental thinking.
