Education and teaching are unique activities to human beings. School education is an important field of human social activities. During practice of school education, arrangement related to the content of education and education processes are the core of educational activities. Correspondingly, it is for this core that curriculum studies have developed. Thus, curriculum studies play an important position and role in education researches.Nowadays, curriculum studies is booming gradually with many curriculum theory and genre emerging. Finally, it has come into a setup rich of discourse and theories. The theory of Culture Capital was put forward by French sociologist Bourdieu. It has profound contents and influenced future generations deeply. Reaching to the level of curriculum, the theory of Culture Capital can be developed further into the theory of Curriculum Culture Capital. As a new theory of curriculum studies, the theory of Curriculum Culture Capital provide current curriculum studies in our country with new perspectives, theories and methods.This paper is titled as The Application of the Theory of Curriculum Culture Capital in School Education. It builds the overall framework of the thesis in accordance with what, why and how to do, with the last one as the most important step. To be specific, firstly, by analyzing connotations and values of curriculum culture capital, the paper starts from the concept of curriculum, culture and capital and states the curriculum is a kind of culture while the curriculum culture is a kind of capital. From this, the concept of curriculum culture capital appears. Also, the paper clarify some related propositions on curriculum culture capital, such as functions, characters, forms, accumulation and standards of curriculum culture capital. Secondly, the paper reveals the theory foundation and real need of applying the theory of Curriculum Culture Capital. That is why the theory of Curriculum Culture Capital is applied in school education. Finally, the paper puts forward the purpose, content, subject, process, condition and evaluation of theory application in school education.The practice of the theory of Curriculum Culture Capital in school education is a beneficial try and exploration. It aims at combining the theory of Curriculum Culture Capital and school education practice. It tries to reform original school curriculum by using the theory of Curriculum Culture Capital and build a new system of school curriculum adapting for development of subjects, students and the society.
