The course management of our country’s basic education highly centralized and unified for a long time. As a huge country of many peoples, a unified teaching mode is difficult to adapt to the education situation. At the turn of the century, the course reform in our country also took a substantive step.The Ministry of Education required to carry out the three-level curriculum management system in the new round curriculum reform. The development of school-based curriculum has increasingly been concerned about. School-based curriculum evaluation is an essential part in the development of school-based curriculum. A good evaluation can not only improve the quality of school-based curriculum, but also make school-based curriculum goes better. Therefore, school-based curriculum evaluation is as important as the development of school-based curriculum.This paper tries to establish a comprehensive form of evaluation of school-based curriculum from theoretical and practical perspectives. Then, it designs a teacher’s questionnaire and a student’s questionnaire according to the indicators of the form of evaluation. This paper tries to get the facts of No.8 primary school’s situation, analyzes all the materials and makes a judgment of the school-based curriculum. This paper is composed of five parts:The first part is the reason of studying the evaluation of school-based curriculum. It includes the background、purpose、significance、the existing research from home and abroad、the methodology of school-based curriculum.The second part is the establishment of the theoretical basis. This paper analyzes the concepts, the principles and functions gradually. Goal-attainment model, countenance model, CIPP model and explanatory evaluation model make up the theoretical basis of school-based curriculum.The third part is to establish the estimated indicators of the school-based curriculum. According to the background、design、n implementation、 consequence of school-based curriculum and the theoretical basis,this paper tries to establish a rich estimated indicators system.The forth part is to research the school-based curriculum of No.8 primary school. This paper analyzes problems of the school-based curriculum according to the observation、interview and questionnaires to this school.The fifth part is the conclusion and advises. This paper concludes three questions of school-based curriculum in this school. The content of school-based curriculum is still lack. The class hour of school-based curriculum is too short. The methodology of evaluation is too singleness. This paper analyzes five reasons. Firstly, the attention on school-based curriculum is not enough. Secondly, the theoretical basis of the development of school-based curriculum is lack. Thirdly, the school is short of the culture of the development of school-based curriculum. Forth, teachers are limited by their abilities to develop the school-based curriculum. At the same time, this paper puts forward four advises. Firstly, school-based curriculum should be gets more attention. Secondly, school makes more suited rules. Thirdly, school pays more attention to train teachers’abilities. Forth, the content and methodology of evaluation should be enriched.
