School-based curriculum first appeared in the1960s or the1970s, it is based onschools and is determined by the schools themselves. From the mid1990s, with theconduct of the reform of basic education curriculum and the implementation of"national, local, school three levels curriculum management" policy, our nationalprimary and high schools began to develop school-based curriculum. Ourschool-based curriculum is still in the initial stage, and the assessment system is in itsinfancy. Although some schools adopt corresponding evaluation methods based onthe particular course when carrying out the school-based curriculum, most of thesebelong to the exploration of the experience level, lacking the guidance fromconstruction standards and assessment system. Jiangsu Province is among the first tocarry out the reform of curriculum and the development of school-based curriculum.Know the process of the school-based curriculum construction by carrying outquestionnaires in several senior schools of Jiangsu Province. Know the benefits anddrawbacks of the current assessment system by conducting the questionnaire amongstudents of grade1and grade2in Danyang senior high of Jiangsu Province. Throughthe biological school-based curriculum development and evaluation, try to setconstruction standards for school-based curriculum in biology in the following threeaspects: teaching aims, course content and course development and management. To build analysis system, operating system and support system of biologicalschool-based curriculum on the basis of traditional evaluation. School-basedcurriculum evaluation may lay stress on internal evaluation, so we should evaluatethe plan ahead to see whether the plan is practical; Make dynamic evaluation duringthe process to see if there are still some problems or insufficiency; Make evaluationon students’ academic performance after the process in order to pay attention totheir interests and personality development. Hope that this biological school-basedcurriculum can set an example for other subjects.
