Today, with the era of the public entrepreneurship and innovation,the training of personnel for a higher update requirements, the human creative spirit and practical ability training is vocational education has been pursued and educational mission. However, the ideological and political theory teaching long-standing deficiencies but can not achieve a new era of mission bestowed by the times, innovative ideas and political theory teaching method is imperative.The Action oriented teaching method is from Germany, the core concept is "activity-oriented, student-centered, competency-based." Specifically, it is in the teaching activities, teachers guide students through conduct activities to improve student learning enthusiasm, knowledge and acquisition of skills, the students as the main teaching activities, cultivate innovative thinking in behavioral activity, improve the comprehensive ability.This paper describes in College Students' Thought and Political Theory Teaching feasibility and necessity of application of action-oriented teaching methods, focusing on action-oriented teaching practice in application and effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses in higher vocational colleges Analysis. We hope that through education reform, better adapted to explore teaching methods ideological and political theory course of higher vocational colleges, foster an innovative spirit and practical ability of the integrated talent.The article first discusses the background, purpose, meaning, content and methods, describes the application status of action-oriented teaching method in current research as well as Professional Colleges and Political Theory Teaching in China. Secondly, to clarify the meaning of action-oriented teaching methods, characteristics and theoretical basis of analysis of the current situation of higher vocational colleges teaching ideas and political theory course, and then make reference necessity and feasibility of action-oriented teaching methods. At the same time in order to avoid misunderstanding into teaching workers, analyzes the limitation of action-oriented teaching methods. Next, the author of "Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics" program, for example, based on the basic theory of action-oriented teaching methods, design teaching programs and teaching were compared, results showed that students in self-awareness, learning motivation and other aspects of comprehensive capacity building showed significant differences.
