Child stage is the basic phase of the physical quality development, if children create a good physical quality in this period, it will affect children’s future puberty and its physical life. Without a doubt, gymnastics has promoting value for children health. It includes not only walking, running, jumping, climbing, but also the basic form of a variety of activities such as rotation, support, which can improve children’s physical quality such as strength, agility, coordination, flexibility, and can promote the coordinated development of different organs, enhance self-adaption to various environments and self-protection ability, and can develop courageous, tenacious character. In order to strengthen children’s gymnastics training, promote the healthy growth of children: on the hand, nursery school should actively emphasize preschool gymnastics education; on the other hand, great importance should be attached to the study of children outside the school gymnastics and exercise. In recent years, along with the advancement of sports socialization, sports training industry, mainly in teaching skills, began to rise in our country, and various forms of sports training institutions appeared. The current gymnastics training are far less popular compared sports such as basketball, football, roller skating program for the students, and students who like gymnastics are fewer and fewer. In previous research many problems have been found, such as the training mode for child are too similar to adult, and thus not suitable for children’s physical and mental characteristics, and it is difficult to rapid develop. Now in Henan province g amateur training for children gymnastics has been developed from a single mode of sports schools to a variety of teaching model. Choosing different teaching modes has its rationality, but in practice, there are some problems. It has become very important to study these problems.By using research methods of literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics method and logic method, this paper investigated and analyzed the guiding ideology of teaching, teaching aim, teaching content, teaching methods, organization forms, teaching effect evaluation system of children’s gymnastics amateur training, actively explore children’s amateur gymnastic teaching models, insight into the basic situation of child gym class teaching, find out problems in children’s gymnastics training teaching, and propose rational suggestions to guide the training healthy, stable and sustainable development of children’s amateur gymnastic under the new situation, so as to meet the needs of the child to practice gym. Research conclusions are as follows:1. In Henan province gymnastics amateur training teaching mode are mainly three types: skill masters, happy gymnastics, and the combination of the first two models.2. Gymnastics class from amateur sports school of teaching use skills master type of teaching, under the guiding ideology of "participate in the competition, cultivate gymnastics talent", and pay attention to cultivate sports skill. Skill level of coaches’ gymnastics is higher; the teaching process structure is the organization form of master training apprentice. The teaching contents are according to the state general administration of sports gymnastics training program, and carry on the systematic skill teaching, which has strong techniques and compact rhythm. Professor method are mostly demonstration, explanation, and evaluate according to the "self-evaluation of teachers" and "competition performance". The main problem is the teaching targets of children gymnastics amateur training is too single, content is difficult and highly skilled, less attention has been paid to interests in children’s gymnastics training; no grouping teaching in preschool and primary school; teaching evaluation is too simple. Promote reform in gymnastics amateur training in Henan province, set up the multi-level teaching goal system, adhere to the children’s sports demand as the basis for start; Set children’s all-round development as the central goal, build a scientific and reasonable gymnastics teaching content system. Follow the children’s individual differences, pay attention to children’s learning process; Emphasize to the multivariate evaluation, establish and improve children’s gymnastics teaching evaluation system.3. The market operation type of children gymnastics amateur class usually teaches under happy gymnastics teaching model, with improving the body quality, stimulating interest in sport, cultivating character, and enjoying sports as primary guiding ideology. Setting the goal that attaches great importance to the children’s physical and mental development, independently research and develop course content and on the basis of children’s interest.
