The Current Situation Of County-level Amateur Sports School In Henan Province

In the time of planned economy, the amateur sports school provided sufficient reserve force for the development of China competitive sports,Its effectiveness in promoting the strength of competitive sports has been hailed as “the cradle of world champion”. However, with the gradual deepening of economic system reform, a series of social changes have led to the drawbacks of reserve personnel cultivating and training system in China competitive sports. As a result, the amateur sports school, at the bottom of the three-level training network, has gradually taken off its splendor of the past. The insufficient sources of students significantly hindered the development of a mateur sports school. Therefore, it is ur gent and imperative to reform the a mateur training system of Chi na and to construct a new reserve personnel training system of competitive sports.Taking the status of Henan county-level amateur sports schools as the object, this research is made to investigate and analyze the 14 Henan county-level amateur sports schools in terms of the source of students, training conditions, competition results and st udents' learning outcome in cult ural courses based on documentary method, survey method and other research methods. The research results are shown as below:1.During the time of plan ned economy, under th e administration and guidance of provincial and municipal sports commissions, Henan county-level amateur sports schools achieved steady development and remarkable results in competitions, which cultivated a large number of outstanding sports talents for Henan Province.2.Along with the gradual deepening of the refor m in economic system, education system and sports system, amateur sports schools suffered fr om the impact of training system, education-training conflicts, inadequate venues and facilities, and insufficient talented students. Together with the low level of scientific training given by coaches, the poor training conditions and inadequate funding, Henan county-level amateur sports schools have been difficult to sustain.3.Born in the era of the planned economy, the traditional athletes cultivating and training system used to be a pyramid that taking amateur sports school as the base, provincial and municipal professional teams as the body and the national team as the spire. With the gradual deepening of the reform in eco nomic system, education system and sports system, disadvantages of this athletes cultivating and training system have become increasingly prominent and become a serious obstacle for th e sustainable development of China competitive sports industry. Therefore, building a new sports reserve personnel training system is the irresistible trend of the time. Suggestions are as follows:1.Reform the amateur training system and give full play to the advantages of the combination of sports and education, so as to gradually transfer the c ultivation of reserve personnel in competitive sports to general primary and secondary schools, forming up an education system based res erve personnel cultivating and training system that developed in a coordinated process through primary schools, secondary schools and universities.2.Optimize the coach team, improve the level of amateur training, and encourage social forces to contribute their part by increasing investments in this industry to improve the facilities of amateur training.3.Set up a complete reserve personnel delivery incentive system and engagement system. Through the integrated match of s ports items, horizontally, the amateur sports schools, youth sports clubs, and professional clubs can learn from each other through mutual cooperation; vertically, it can help build a reserve personnel cultivating and training system that developed in a coordinated process through primary schools, secondary schools and universities.4.Establish and perfect school competition system. Divide the competitions into primary school division, junior high school division and senior high school division based on students' age and education level. Hold interscholastic, inter-county league matches.5.Reinforce the publicity and report of sports events through the network media, school broadcast and local TV station, so as to create good campus sports atmosphere and inspire the general primary and middle school students' interest in sports.
