Middle school students' weariness has been a problem which confuses many students,parents and teachers for a long time.Different from the other researches of bringing out solutions in the aspect of theory hypothesis and institutional reform,this study focuses on the social case work intervention in the middle school students' weariness effectively by applying the social work methods in order to alleviate the student weariness in mood and behavior in the microscopic way.In this study,I took student H as an example,who typically suffered from weariness.The research chose the case work method as the basic method to explore why the student is weary of learning.The background,causes and relevant method of student's tired of learning have been discussed in the study,the research results show that the main reasons of weariness are the lower self-evaluation because of failures in lots of exams in a new environment,and all the negative evaluations from teachers,classmates and even parents.Thus the factors make the student in face of lower self-concept and the false cognition on school study,and thus produce both emotional and behavioral weariness on study.Based on student weariness the status quo,the Empowerment Theory and the Strengths Perspective have been pervaded in implement of the case work.This study designed available plans with the theories and techniques to ease the emotional and behavior weariness to help the student and his family to get out of trouble.While in order to solve the specific problems effectively,the three kinds of case work models have all implemented comprehensively in the study to ease the student's emotion,adjust his behavior,and consolidate the research achievements,the Behavior Therapy of small incremental method is used to consolidate the good behavior,the Rational-emotive method is used to solve the false cognition on school study,and the Client-centered Therapy is used to build student's confidence of study.It took three months to accomplish the whole goals of the case.The research shows that when the case come to an end,the student's weariness in emotion and behavior has been eased to some extents,the examination anxiety have been released a lot,and the student have developed a great confidence on study,and changed his irrational cognition on the school education.
