Research On Subjective Well-being Of Tourism Destination Residents

Subjective well-being is a subjective evaluation of self quality of life and an important comprehensive psychological index to measure individual life quality.With the development of social economy and people's living standards improving quickly,happiness become a common concern issue to people,also is the focus topic at present.Many domestic and foreign scholars did a lot of researches concerning about the subjective well-being of different groups.However,with the regard to the tourist destination community residents subjective well-being research is very little.Destination residents' well-being has very important significance to the construction of a harmonious tourism environment and the sustainable development of the tourism industry.This article regard tourist destination community residents as the research object to construct the evaluation index system of tourism destination residents subjective well-being.Using the questionnaire research to understand the state of the destination residents' well-being,Using the entropy evaluation method put forward happiness measurement model to calculation Residents' happiness index.Thus,this can reflect the destination residents personal happiness levels and average happiness levels objectively and can provide local governments some scientific guides to promote the development of tourism industry more sustainable and healthy.Through data analysis and research results,we can draw the following conclusions.(1)Jinggangshan Ciping town residents' subjective well-being index to an average of 2.8795,the happiness level is medium low,so the people of there in a state of not very happy.(2)There's a big gap between the residents of subjective well-being level,the maximum value is 4.5381,the minimum value of 1.3291.The main indicators of well-being differences between residents is a tourism participation(0.5870)and the negative influence perception(0.2253),the effect of positive tourism impact(0.1151)and sense of community belonging(0.0726)are both very small.In the seventeen secondary indexes,the main factors that influencing the residents' subjective well-being are tourism revenue contribution degree(0.1800)and domestic tourism revenue contribution degree(0.1691),which ranked the first and second.This shows that the residents pay the close attention to tourism income,which is key factor to determine CiPing town residents' subjective well-being level.Followed by the level of participate decision-making(0.1532),the result shows that residents attach importance to whether has this participation right,but this right is not popularization at all.(3)Ranks last three in the secondary indexes are:tourism development can promote historical and cultural relics protection(0.0186),the living situation of local residents(0.0156)and tourism development can promote cultural exchanges(0.0130).These three factors have small difference in affect the residents' subjective well-being.At the same time,combined with questionnaire investigation,we found residents generally agree that tourism development will promote the cultural exchange and the local historical and cultural relics protection.Residents also get along very well between each other,they also think jinggangshan red revolutionary base has honest folkway,people are very kind and easy to get along with.Because the entropy evaluation method put particular emphasis on longitudinal comparison,so we also need attention low-ranking indicators.(4)According to the actual investigation and questionnaire,the inggangshan residents cultural knowledge level is generally lower.Most residents only have junior high school or the following cultural degree,engaged in low level specialization job,finally lead to they're economic income is relatively low.In CiPing town town center(tourist attractions more concentrated,the transportation is convenient),residents'living level and employment situation much better than ShangJing Village,DaJing Village and XiaoJing Village,which positions are relatively partial and tourist attractions are relatively single.(5)Based on the analysis of research process,index weight and well-being index,We put forward the countermeasure and the suggestion of enhance the level of residents'subjective well-being through following three aspects:improve the tourism income,reduce tourism income difference;Strengthen the government guarantee,pay close attention to vulnerable groups;Improve the residents' recognition to the development of local tourism.
