Experiment is the foundation and soul of chemical science, it plays an important role in chemistry teaching. Under the promotion of chemistry new curriculum reform ideas, chemistry experiment extend the teaching functions from the original motivation theory?cognitive theory, practical function to experience of scientific inquiry, emotion theory, humanistic education and other functions. So,chemistry experiment is the most effective way to carry out the three-dimensional targets of chemistry course. But because of some the rural middle schools are limited to various conditions, the chemistry experiment teaching still can not follow the pace of the new curriculum.According to the research methods of questionnaire and literature review, this study found that with the constant improvement of the test the score adding metaplasia experiment test, and rural middle school has been improved remarkably degree than in previous years to the attention of the chemistry experiment,but under the influence of examination or the college entrance examination baton, rural middle school is still dominated by exam-oriented education. In addition, according to the status of rural middle school chemistry experiment teaching also found that some of the factors that hinder its development,for example, education resource allocation, rural middle school chemistry experiment teacher shortage; chemistry new curriculum reform of teachers consciousness weak, will not lead students to innovative experiments; "Spoon-feeding" teaching methods can not improve students' interest in learning, can not raise students to explore new knowledge enthusiasm and initiative, nor to develop students skills and careful rigorous scientific approach.According to the function of chemistry experiment in chemistry teaching and the principle of the reform of chemistry experiment,some corresponding improvement measures and countermeasures are put forward in view of the above situations, mainly from the allocation of educational funds, lack of teachers, the new curriculum reform consciousness is weak, the curriculum resources are limited and so on. Combined with my experience in practical chemistry teaching and found out the strategies and methods to solve the problem of the current, we strive to provide some useful reference for improving the quality of teaching chemistry experiment in rural secondary schools to promote the effective implementation of teaching chemistry experiment.
