Research On Higher Vocational College Students Self-management Situation

Since the new century,the higher vocational education as an important part of higher education has developed rapidly,the number of Higher Vocational Colleges have increased and students recruitment scale has expanded.The development of higher vocational education and society demand high-quality skilled personnel,which require higher vocational colleges to reform the traditional personnel cultivation concept,transform students training mode,set up students self-management consciousness.Under the new situation,higher vocational students self-management is the inevitable requirement of social development,is the necessary request to improve the quality of higher vocational colleges,and is the inevitable requirement of higher vocational students physical and mental development rule.Therefore,higher vocational students self-management is significantly important for promoting students all-round development and the transformation of teachers' professional role,promoting the sustainable development of higher vocational colleges,and realizing social sustainable development.This study is based on related literature of students self-management,from higher vocational students learning and life,through questionnaire investigation and interview method,systematically analyze higher vocational students self-management situation.Survey results show that the higher vocational college students self-management mainly exists following problems: lacking planning in learning objectives management;lacking subjectivity in learning ways management;lacking initiative in learning time management;the low level of study habits management;lacking of planning in life objectives management;lacking self-control in lifestyle management;lacking initiative in life time management;the low level of life habits' self-management.The study analyzes the causes of these problems combiningliterature and interview record,and from higher vocational students,higher vocational colleges,education department,higher vocational students family and society puts forward measures and suggestions:(1)the higher vocational students: form correct self-cognition;correct understanding of self-management;strengthen subject consciousness;strengthen self-control ability;(2)the higher vocational colleges:transform management mode in higher vocational colleges;develop career planning section;strengthen the construction of teachers in higher vocational colleges;build platform for higher vocational students to practice self-management;(3)the higher vocational students families: create better family atmosphere of autonomous management;transform family education mode;(4)the education department:advocate higher vocational students self-management idea;establish and improve rules and regulations of higher vocational students' self-management(5)society: play the role of mass media in influencing public opinion;carry out rich and colorful community activities;strengthen the responsibility consciousness of the enterprises.
