Employment expectation is the intention and desire that individuals are engaged in profession and also is the attitude and faith to choose a certain job. College students' employment expectations represent their inner values and affect their career choices.The analysis of the current situation and influence factors of college students' employment expectations in Gansu province is not only useful for them to adjust their career expectation, but to help them solve the employment problems.This study is based on the Expectancy Theory, Human Capital Theory and Social Capital Theory and studied from the perspective of empirical study, which freely used literature method and questionnaire survey to research the current situation and the influence factors of college students' employment expectations, and put forward some adjusted policies for the employment expectation that is inconsistent with the reality of college students in Gansu. The sample of this study aims to Gansu college students who graduated in 2015. The basic study on employment expectation includes employment workplace, expected salary, and desire to work in western areas or in villages. The writer studied the corresponding influence factors aim to the above three aspects and analyzed from the following three perspectives in details: human capital, social capital and other aspects.Based on the above empirical analysis, this study states the suggestions of the adjustment of college students' employment expectations from the aspects of the students' employment guidance department, college cultivation model and contents, the employment workplace and the employers:First, college should pay more attention to cultivate students' practical abilities and make them more specialized. Second, employment department should help students set up career planning consciousness and adjust or correct it in time. Third, graduates should be ready for the employment and improve their competitive powers, then to adjust their self-expectation in time. Last but not least, the employers should provide a fair employment atmosphere to offer more opportunities.
