Positive psychological quality education is the ideological and political education of psychological health education is an important content of part.Development of colleges and universities teachers' positive mental quality is not only beneficial to the quality of teachers in colleges and universities and professional happiness has increased, but also harmonious relations between teachers and students in colleges and universities and cultivation of healthy personality development the important premise of innovative talents.The national medium and long-term education reform and development plan outline(2010-2020) in its safeguard measures emphasize "teacher qualification strictly, improve the quality of teachers.Can say, most of the current university teachers and research with great concentration, academic rigour, teaching, silently.But there are a few teachers affected by the bad social ethos, academic misconduct, adventurous, utilitarian impetuous, elaborate the teaching.The end of the 20 th century American psychologist Martin, Seligman establishment of positive psychology, pioneered a new field of vision for the humanities and social science research, the theory emphasizes findings and give a full play to the superiority of the people and virtue is motivated and an important means to enhance well-being.Therefore, to explore the characteristics of Hunan university teachers' positive psychological quality, and put forward the development strategy of targeted, to improve the level of teaching staff in colleges and universities in our province and even the higher education quality has the important value of theory and practice.In reference, Martin Seligman and describe a professor Meng establishment in our country, on the basis of positive mental quality scale independent establishment has certain reliability and validity of the questionnaire of Hunan university teachers' positive psychological quality, specially selected in our province of Hunan university,national university of defense technology, Changsha university of science and technology, business school of Hunan, Hunan liberal arts college, Hunan sportsvocational college, such as 12 different types of universities, the extraction of different professional 600 teachers in colleges and universities to carry out the questionnaire survey, get 534 effective samples.By using SPSS20.0 to recycling samples for data statistics and analysis, the following conclusions:(1) the Hunan university teachers' positive mental quality by wisdom, courage, interpersonal, justice,temperance, beyond six dimensions, its overall characteristic is positive.(2) age, the human dimension of university teachers' positive psychological quality in Hunan have a significant impact.(3) the title of Hunan university teachers' positive mental quality have a significant impact.(4) the school type has a significant influence on Hunan university teachers' positive mental quality.According to the practical characteristics of Hunan university teachers' positive psychological quality, this article follows the comprehensive development of combined with a focus on developing, common development and personality development, continuing education and the combination of the three principles of the combination of subject development, mainly from the path of cognition, emotion, and behavior path to develop Hunan university teachers' positive mental quality.
